What counts as a technician seat?
A seat is anyone who runs jobs in the field on the Jobwright mobile app — the techs on your trucks. Dispatchers, customer service reps, estimators who work from the office, and owners who just want to watch the board are all free and unlimited. You never pay for the office.
Can I add and remove techs mid-season?
Yes — trades are seasonal and your bill should be too. Add seats when you staff up for the cooling or heating rush and drop them in the slow months. New seats are prorated to the day, and removing a seat credits the unused time to your next invoice.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
No contract and no setup fee. Every plan is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime from the console. Onboarding — importing your customers, loading your price book, and a walkthrough for your dispatcher — is included at no cost. Annual billing saves you two months (about 17%).
How does payment processing work?
Jobwright Payments lets techs collect card or ACH on site and it reconciles straight to the invoice. Card is 2.7% + 30¢ and ACH is 0.8% (capped at $6). There's no monthly gateway fee. On the Fleet plan you can bring your own processor if you'd rather keep your existing merchant account.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Nothing disappears. After 14 days we ask for a card to keep dispatching — your jobs, customers, and history stay exactly as you left them. If you decide Jobwright isn't for your shop, you can export everything to CSV on your way out.
